My name is Cindi Dashiell. I am a local artist from mainland Currituck in the Outer Banks area of North Carolina. I work primarily in water medias such as acrylic, gouache, and watercolor. My favorite subjects to paint are from nature. Many pieces depict scenes from OBX local beaches and animals from my farm, The Double D. I also work with mosaic tiles and shells to create unique pieces that are both decorative and functional. Most of my shells that I create from come from the beaches of the Outer Banks. When I am not creating art, I love spending time with my family and my animals.

I have participated in many markets and shows in the Outer Banks and Tidewater areas. Some of these shows include: Under the Oaks Art Show in Corolla, Chesapeake Spring Arts Festival, Currituck County Art Council Art Show, Arts on the Perquimans, East Coast Surfing Championship Art Walk, Aviation Park Market, and Dowdy Park Market.

I have three earned degrees:
