Outer Banks Shop Spotlight: Vintage Vibe OBX

Welcome to a new series where I share some of my favorite, perhaps lesser-known, spots to shop on the Outer Banks. To kick off the series, I introduce to you one of my most recent discoveries – Vintage Vibe OBX in Nags Head, NC.

Although it opened at the end of 2021 I hadn’t paid a visit until this holiday season (2022). I was with my teenage daughter shopping for gifts and she wanted to check out this hidden gem. We found gifts for everyone here!

As soon as you step inside, you are transported to a different era. It’s truly a unique shop that offers a nicely curated selection of vintage and retro-inspired clothing, accessories, home decor, and loads more.

I was surprised at how large the store was once you got inside; it seemed like more and more displays of unique finds were around every corner.

One of the things I love most about Vintage Vibe is how varied and funky the products are. The owner has a great eye for unique pieces, and the shop is always changing with new finds. There are loads of local artists and vendors represented in the space.

Vintage Vibe OBX is a must-visit for anyone looking for unique and vintage-inspired clothing, accessories, and home decor. The shop is a treasure trove of vintage finds, from retro dresses and LPs to mid-century modern decor and statement jewelry pieces.
